As Telstra's CMO, Brent Smart oversees more than 300 marketers and uses the +61 agency model to drive creative development. "Footy Country," one of his well-known works, took home two Golds and a Grand Prix at Spikes Asia. In his previous role as CMO at IAG, he improved the brand strength of NRMA from 36th to 5th, winning over 100 accolades and the Grand Effie in 2021. Throughout his 20-year agency career, Brent has worked on brands like Cheerios and Walmart in positions at Colenso BBDO and as CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi New York. In addition, he co-hosts the Black T-Shirts podcast and participated in the first Asia-Pacific Marketing Academy Fellowship. Brent and his family reside in Bondi.
