Agilent Launches the Successor to its 7000B Triple Quadrupole GC/MS
Agilent Technologies Inc. has gone forward and upgraded its best selling 7000B Triple Quadrupole Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometer (GC/MS/MS) with the latest, even better 7000C GC/MS/MS. The new instrument scores over its older counterpart in terms of performance, method optimization and operating costs.
The new instrument features the company’s second generation high sensitivity EI Extractor Ion Source and has an instrument detection limit of 4fg octafluoronaphthalene. The new 7000C can seamlessly integrate with the company’s 7890B GC to enhance productivity and reduce the cost of analysis. Even the MassHunter software, responsible for tuning, controlling the operations and record generation has got new upgrades in order to be able to support rapid method development and method optimization. 7000C is a next generation state of the art device that offers reliability and efficiency at ultra low detection limits.
