CryoELITE Tissue Vial by WHEATON for Cryogenic Storage

Wheaton Cryoelite vials

WHEATON offers CryoELITE Tissue Vials for secure cryogenic storage – a solution for cryopreservation of biological tissue specimens. The CryoELITE Tissue Vials are meant to maintain sample integrity with the uniformity in manufacture, an important feature sought after by the researchers working with tissue biospecimens. WHEATON achieves this by using low binding, cryogenic-grade virgin polypropylene and manufacturing in an environment free of DNAse, RNase, endotoxins and pyrogens. In addition to minimizing the effect of leachables, it also prevents contamination that would generally occur in traditional vials with silicone o-rings.

CryoELITE vials are designed for use in temperatures ranging from -156 °C to 121 °C and they incorporate an externally threaded cap that exceeds DOT and IATA minimum standards for internal pressure. The latter provides a perfect seal to withstand pressure changes during repetitive freeze/thaw cycles.

WHEATON also offers colour-coded CryoFILE Tissue Boxes along with the CryoELITE Tissue Vials which serves as an ideal system for biobanks, research and commercial laboratories allowing easy visual identification. These specially designed water-repellent boxes optimize cryogenic storage of humans, animals and plants tissue sections.

WHEATON, with its CryoELITE fulfills the research and diagnostic demands for reliable and cryogenically proven vessels to store and deliver vital materials and specimens.
