Porvair Launches Microlute SPE Starter Kit for Sample Preparation
Porvair Sciences, leading manufacturer of microplates and accessories has announced the launch of its new Microlute SPE sample preparation starter kit for preparing samples in 96 well format. The new Microlute SPE kit contains two development filter plates, C18 sorbent filter plate, 2ml collection plates, disposable waste trays along with Microlute Acrylic Vacuum Manifold.
The Microlute Sample starter kit can be used to prepare samples measuring as less as 150 microliters for rapid processing of up to 96 samples with utmost accuracy and precision in a single run. The two development filter plate available in the kit comes preloaded with 8 different sorbents for easier method development and identification of suitable sorbent. The provision for pre-injection cleanup and concentration results in increased analytical sensitivity of the process.
The special Microlute plates made of moulded single piece polypropylene is tougher than conventional SPE filters and do not bend or distort. The plates features proprietary technique to eliminate channelling and at the same time, the presence of a drain sprout ensures complete sample transfer while eliminating crossover contamination. Porvair Microlute SPE sample starter kit can also be coupled with the company’s MiniVap sample concentrator to recover concentrated or dried samples.
