SCOAP³ (Sponsoring Consortium for Open Access Publishing in Particle Physics) is a major global initiative that transforms key journals in high-energy physics (HEP) into fully open-access publications. Launched in 2014 and coordinated by CERN, it is one of the largest and most successful discipline-specific OA consortia in the world.
