ZEISS Xradia 810 Ultra XRM for 3D Imaging at 50 Nanometer Resolutions

Xradia 810 Ultra

ZEISS, the leading manufacturers of light, X-ray and electron microscopes has introduced the new ZEISS Xradia 810 Ultra 3D X-ray Microscope. The new high throughput instrument is capable of increasing the throughput of 3D X-ray imaging by about 10 times while operating at X-ray energy of about 5.4 keV.

ZEISS Xradia 810 Ultra uses this new low X-ray energy source to offer better contrast as these X-rays gets readily absorbed to produce high quality tomographies in less time. Xradia 810 is the newest addition to the company’s Xradia Ultra series and is the only imaging solution capable of achieving 50 nanometer resolutions without destroying the sample.

The new Xradia 810 Ultra X-ray 3D X-ray microscope will prove to be very useful in oil and gas feasibility studies, 4D and in-situ studies requiring multiple repeated imaging, biomaterial and biological studies and other laboratory applications. The new Xradia 810 Ultra makes use of advanced synchrotron optics, absorption and Zernike phase along with nano-scale resolution to offer the best resolution and contrast in the industry.
